Social activists have issued a joint statement saying that the Tamil Nadu government should not hesitate to bring all those involved in the Karur tragedy, including TVK leader Vijay, to justice. They have also accused Vijay of being prepared to side with the right-wingers, who have so far described him as their political enemy, in order to escape the crime.
