Karur Stampede Victims’ Jobs: The Tamil Nadu government had issued government job orders to the victims of the Karur stampede incident; however, the Madurai Bench of the High Court quashed this decision. Contending that the court cannot interfere in government policy decisions, the Tamil Nadu government has now filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against the quashing order.
