“Vijay’s late arrival in Karur was the cause of the fatalities. DMK government saved lives by admitting many people to the hospital. Hundred people fainted due to the heat and dehydration; the DMK government saved the lives of 60 of them,” stated DMK Leader TKS Elangovan.
