The Tamil Nadu Government has announced a ₹3,000 Pongal cash gift for all rice ration card holders. Tokens will be issued door-to-door to ensure smooth and crowd-free distribution of the Pongal cash gift, along with the rice, sugar, sugarcane, dhoti and saree gift hamper.
