Representatives of the Nutritious Meal Workers’ Union in Chennai have expressed disappointment over the Chief Minister’s announcement regarding the pension scheme. They warned that protests would be launched if time-scale pay and adequate pension benefits are not provided within a week. The union also stated that further action would be decided on January 7.
