Tamil Nadu Industries Minister T.R.B. Raja has stated that the Hosur airport will become operational as planned. He said the Union Government has amended the rule that earlier restricted the construction of two airports within a 150-kilometre radius. With this regulatory change, the Hosur airport project will definitely move forward and come into use.
