Tamil Nadu MPs have strongly protested in the Lok Sabha against the central government’s move to rename the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme. They objected to the scheme being given a Sanskrit name, ‘Vikshit Bharat Ji Ram Ji’.
