A car carrying AR Ameen, son of music composer AR Rahman, was involved in an accident near the Kathipara flyover in Guindy, Chennai. The car, in which Ameen and a friend were traveling from Koyambedu, collided with an oncoming vehicle. Everyone involved escaped with minor injuries.
