Chennai Meteorological Centre has stated that there is a possibility of rain in the districts along the Western Ghats until the 21st. It has also been reported that, until the 19th, maximum temperatures in a few places across the interior districts of Tamil Nadu could be up to 3 degrees Celsius higher than normal.
