Ramadoss broke down emotionally during the party’s general council meeting in Salem, stating that he felt it would have been acceptable even if his son Anbumani had hurt him deeply. As he spoke in tears, party cadres chanted “Ayya, Ayya” in support, while his daughter Srikandhimathi, who was present nearby, stepped in to console him.
