The National Anti-Doping Agency has imposed an eight-year ban on Tamil Nadu athlete Dhanalakshmi after she failed a doping test for the second time. She had earlier served a three-year ban for a doping violation and had returned to competition last August. However, she tested positive again in a subsequent anti-doping test, leading to the extended suspension.
