MDMK General Secretary and MP Vaiko has condemned the reduction of constituencies in Tamil Nadu and other southern states under the guise of delimitation, calling it a punishment for adhering to population control measures, while Uttar Pradesh has seen a 138% increase and Rajasthan a 166% rise in population.
