Cyber fraudsters are now exploiting the official Delivery Authentication Code (DAC/OTP) system meant to secure LPG cylinder deliveries by sending fake messages that mimic genuine HP Gas, Indane and Bharat Gas alerts, tricking customers into sharing codes before the cylinder arrives and draining their bank accounts.
