Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to visit New Delhi next week to attend the BRICS Foreign Ministers’ Meeting on May 14 and 15. The visit gains added significance as West Asia tensions have disrupted oil and gas supplies through the Strait of Hormuz, raising serious concerns over rising petrol, diesel prices and LPG shortages in India.
