DMK Law Minister Raghupathi has said that although the court has ordered the lighting of a lamp at the peak of Thirupparankundram hill, the structure there is not a traditional deepa thoon (lamp pillar). He questioned the fairness of implementing something that does not physically exist and stated that an appeal will be filed in the Supreme Court in this matter.
