Supreme Court Judge Kotiswar Singh: “Constitutionally, India is a secular nation. ‘Hindu’ is merely a generic term historically used to refer to those residing beyond the Indus River. India has never declared itself to be a Hindu nation,” stated Supreme Court Justice Kotiswar Singh.
