“Operation Blue Star went down the wrong path — I admit it. Indira Gandhi sacrificed her life because of the mistake of Operation Blue Star,” said Congress MP P. Chidambaram. He further stated that the military action carried out at the Golden Temple during ‘Operation Blue Star’ deeply wounded the sentiments of the Sikh community, and that it remains a historical blunder.
