Indian Meteorological Department has announced that a new low-pressure area is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal tomorrow (October 21). It is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify further into a low-pressure area. Due to this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in the north coastal districts of Tamil Nadu.
