By the swift action of the Chennai Metropolitan Police Cyber Crime Division police stations, a sum of Rs. 1.04 crore lost by complainants was recovered and returned in the month of December alone. In the year 2025, a total of Rs. 25.97 crore lost by the public in cyber fraud cases has been recovered.
