VCK leader Thirumavalavan has stated that the brutal murder of a young man in Thaiyur, which stemmed from a romantic relationship, was indeed an honor killing. It has also come to light that some members of TVK are implicated in this murder, and action must be taken against them as well. Thirumavalavan has further urged the government to enact a specific law against honor killings in Tamil Nadu.
