The intensity of the heat has increased across Tamil Nadu. In Vellore, a maximum temperature of 104 degrees Fahrenheit has been recorded. Against this backdrop, the India Meteorological Department has announced that a new cyclonic circulation is expected to form in the Arabian Sea. The Department has also provided clarifications regarding whether this system will bring rainfall to Tamil Nadu.
