The New Health Insurance Scheme-2026 for Tamil Nadu government employees, pensioners, and eligible family members has been implemented. The government has announced that this scheme will be in effect for five years—from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2031—and covers 2,992 types of treatments and surgeries.
