Madras High Court has issued an interim stay on the notice sent by the Tamil Nadu Cyber Crime Police to X (formerly Twitter), seeking to block accounts that post political commentary. The High Court has further directed that the blocking of 18 specific X accounts be revoked and ordered the Tamil Nadu government and the Police Department to file their responses.
