Chennai: The Meteorological Department has stated that rain accompanied by thunder and lightning is likely in 10 districts of Tamil Nadu, including Chennai, over the next three hours. Districts such as Tiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Dharmapuri, and Tiruvannamalai are among those expected to receive rainfall. The department noted that while the day saw scorching heat, rain is expected in the evening.
