The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has officially announced that all schools across the state will reopen on October 6, 2025, following the completion of quarterly examinations. The department has also instructed schools to remain open on Vijayadasami day to facilitate new student admissions, a tradition considered highly auspicious in Tamil Nadu.
