Cyclone Senyar, which formed near the Malacca Strait, has weakened after crossing the Indonesian coast. Meanwhile, a new cyclone named Ditva is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal. It is expected to intensify within the next 48 hours and move toward Puducherry, Chennai, and South Andhra Pradesh. As a precaution, Port Warning Signal No. 1 has been hoisted at ports in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
