The weather department has announced that seven districts in Tamil Nadu are likely to receive rainfall in the next two hours. With the low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal intensifying into a deep depression, an alert has been issued until 7 PM for districts including Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Thoothukudi, and Ramanathapuram.
