The Anti-Corruption Bureau has registered a case against a former Assistant Commissioner of the Coimbatore City Crime Branch and a middleman for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹5 lakh to settle a land fraud complaint with real estate developers and recover the advance payment lost by the victims.
