The Central Consumer Protection Authority has imposed a fine of ₹50,000 on ‘China Gate Restaurant Private Limited’, a Mumbai-based company. The fine was levied on the company, which operates the ‘Bora Bora’ restaurant, for mandatorily levying a service charge on customers’ bills.
