Reacting to the controversy over lighting the ceremonial lamp at Tirupparankundram hill, Zoho founder Sridhar Vembu stated that it is wrong to demand the removal of Justice G.R. Swaminathan. He said that people may agree or disagree with the judge’s verdict, but calling for his dismissal is inappropriate and undermines judicial independence.
