More than 1500 nurses working on a consolidated pay basis across Tamil Nadu were engaged in a protest in Chennai yesterday. Meanwhile, over 700 nurses staged a sudden demonstration at the Kilambakkam bus terminal in Chennai late last night. Aadhav Arjuna, the General Secretary of the Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam, personally visited the site and expressed his support for the protest.
