The weather department has forecast rain in 10 districts of Tamil Nadu over the next three hours. Light rain is likely in Chennai, Tiruvallur, Chengalpattu and Villupuram, while thunderstorms with lightning are expected in Cuddalore, Mayiladuthurai, Nagapattinam, Ramanathapuram and Thanjavur.
