The order to detain Gnanasekaran, who was arrested in Anna University Student sexual assault case, under the Goondas Act has been quashed. Chennai High Court issued this order in a case filed by Gnanasekaran’s mother, Gangadevi, as he has already been sentenced in the sexual assault case.
