In the Valasaravakkam zone, Ward No. 145, of the Greater Chennai Corporation, there is a plot of land belonging to the Tamil Nadu Housing Board. A two-story apartment building had been constructed on this land, occupying an area of approximately 10,000 square feet. Following a court order, the building was demolished and removed using a backhoe.
