PR Pandiyan is the president of the Coordination Committee of All Farmers’ Associations of Tamil Nadu. In this context, the Thiruvarur court has imposed a 13-year prison sentence on PR Pandiyan in a case filed in 2015 for damaging public property during a protest against ONGC.
