Supreme Court: The Tamil Nadu government has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court against the Madurai Bench order directing that the lamp be lit on the Tirupparankundram hilltop pillar. The petitioner’s side has already filed a caveat in the Supreme Court, requesting that no order be passed without hearing their arguments if an appeal is made.
