Chennai: A software engineer from Mugalivakkam, Chennai, fell victim to a scam after meeting a man he befriended on the same-sex dating app Grindr. A gang attacked him in Nandambakkam, took his phone, and transferred ₹24,000 via GPay. Police arrested six suspects, including the app acquaintance, and seized phones and bikes used in the crime.
