Chennai Meteorological Department has said that the cyclone ‘Montha’ forming in the Bay of Bengal has intensified into a severe cyclonic storm and is likely to move northwestwards and cross the coast near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh the day after tomorrow. Due to this, there will be heavy rain in Tamil Nadu, the Meteorological Department has said.
