Panneerselvam, the father of Prithik, the child who died in the stampede, has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court seeking a CBI probe into the Karur stampede case. His wife has raised suspicions that he abandoned his child and wife 8 years ago and may have filed the appeal under the instigation of TVK.
