Following the death of eight children in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan due to the consumption of Coldrif cough syrup, the Tamil Nadu government has imposed a ban on the medicine. Sivagangai Government Hospital doctor Farooq Abdullah has also shared important guidance on whether other similar cough syrups from different companies should be avoided for children’s safety.
