Kannan, who was injured in the Karur stampede, has filed a petition in the Madras High Court seeking a ban on the campaign of TVK leader Vijay. The case will come up for hearing this evening (September 28). The case has been filed seeking a ban on Vijay’s campaign in the wake of the tragic incident in which 40 people died in a stampede at a Vijay campaign in Karur.
