Super Typhoon Rakasa, which initially struck the Philippines, has now battered Taiwan, causing severe damage. So far, 14 people have lost their lives due to the typhoon’s impact. The storm is expected to make landfall along the southern coastal region of China. As a result, precautionary measures have been intensified across the country.
