To eliminate the need for farmers to run from pillar to post for crop loans, the Tamil Nadu government has launched a new pilot initiative called the ‘Instant Crop Loan Scheme’. The scheme was inaugurated by Chief Minister M.K. Stalin in Dharmapuri. Under this scheme, the loan amount will be credited directly to the farmer’s bank account on the very same day of application.
