The Chennai Meteorological Department (TN Weather Alert) has issued an advisory that rain is likely to fall in Tamil Nadu till 4 pm today. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain with thunder and lightning in 16 districts across Tamil Nadu including Chennai, Tiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Nilgiris, Coimbatore and Nellai.
