A woman named Devikala, who was living in a rented house in Vadapalani, Chennai, has been arrested for theft. The homeowner, Vivek, had lost his house keys in June and was using a spare. Last week, while preparing for a religious ceremony, he discovered that about 28 grams of gold jewelry, silver anklets, and ₹10,000 were missing from his cupboard.
