Near Vellakovil, Tiruppur, a 4.36-acre government land at Poosari Valasu Mankaradu, rich in rare minerals, saw a treasure hunt. After rumors of buried treasure and findings of small green stones, a gang illegally dug with a JCB, exploiting the site. Investigations underway.
