Ramesh, a 35-year-old resident of Perumacheri area near Ilayankudi in Sivaganga district, allegedly had his house’s electricity connection in his father’s name. The anti-corruption police caught the assistant engineer red-handed for accepting a bribe of Rs. 1,500 to change the name of the electricity connection.
