In the upcoming Tamil Nadu Rajya Sabha elections, AIADMK has announced Inbathurai and another Dhanapal (not the former Speaker) as its candidates. The announcement was made by AIADMK Deputy General Secretary K.P. Munusamy. Notably, DMDK has not been allotted a seat this time.
