Naam Tamilar Katchi Chief Coordinator Seeman strongly opposed the central government’s decision to revoke the Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan. Following him, Tamil Nadu State Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), P. Shanmugam, also sharply criticized the move.
