In Tamil Nadu, ‘Hero Cycles Limited’ submitted the lowest bid for the free bicycle scheme intended for 11th-grade students in the current academic year. Under this tender, the company will manufacture and supply a total of 532,388 ‘modern’ bicycles; the cost per bicycle is estimated at ₹7,235 for male students and ₹7,476 for female students.
